Textured Tuesday – February 2024

Tuesday.

It is amazing what draws your attention at certain times of the year. It is only now, in late summer the sun comes directly in my eastern window at this oblique angle for a short time. And it is only at this time that the shadows cast from the handles of my kitchen drawers make themselves known. I love the diagonal lines that cut across the rigid forms of the drawers.

On A Still Day . . . .

Monday.

The sun was still clearing the eastern mountains as I drove to the western most part of Skye hence the long shadows. The day was clear and dead calm with fantastic views to Harris.

Creek Water – Obi Obi Creek

Wednesday.

Down on Obi Obi Creek for some fun with M.E. (multiple exposures) I was side tracked by the patterns made by the ripples on the shadows of the trees overhanging the creek. These are single images.
