Textured Tuesday – March 2024

Tuesday.

A bit of play on a beach on the Isle of Lewis.

Slow shutter speed capturing the waves always (well nearly always) gives good results and a similar slow shutter speed but jiggling the camera gives a blur to the landscape and the two photographers with their tripods. I love how the tripods are quite clearly seen for what they are.

A double exposure in camera to put the headlands at each end of the long beach into the one shot. It makes an intriguing image

Tuesday.

Two very different images of the Winding Walks Woodland, each giving a different impression of this lovely little wooded area.

Textured Tuesday – September 2023

Tuesday.

Sometimes it was good to just sit outside watching the land flow past as we motored along the Inside Passage. Other times I used these hours to make either ICM’s or mulitple exposures in camera, that is when there wasn’t something else to draw my attention like whales or dolphins or eagles or bears!

Tuesday.

A few double exposure in-camera shots taken of different ferns around O’Reilly’s Guesthouse in Lamington NP. I rather liked using the sunset as a background to the first fern double exposure and then tucking a very different plant in amongst the second one. The third is more a traditional double exposure in camera with the same image repeated just slightly moved from the position of the first. Yes I’ve been having fun with double exposures in-camera lately!

Tuesday,

The last Textured Tuesday of 2022!

A double or triple or fourple (?) exposure in camera from “Best Of All Lookout” in Springbrook NP that overlooks the Tweed Valley in NSW. A panorama didn’t seem to do the vista justice and I liked this compressed version of all the ridges and peaks better.
