On To Something New

Back in Australia I’m now participating in an Abstract Workshop at SW Rocks on the east coast. It’s a very pretty seaside town half way between Sydney and Brisbane.

The Photographer. Such a fun workshop and so many ways to make amazingly creative images.

Babushka Dolls, Moscow – Russia

The Babushka doll is synonomous with Russian folk craft. These nesting dolls come in all shapes and sizes and inside each one is a set of ever diminishing sized dolls , sometimes 8 or 9 inside the one larger one. Now days it is THE tourist thing to buy. Here I’ll leave my Russian journey even though we had another exciting week travelling south from Moscow to Volvograd and Sochi. I am now in another place back in Australia taking part in an Abstract Photography Workshop.

Inside The Kremlin, Moscow – Russia

The Kremlin to westerners is all about politics and intrigue and the mystery of a foreign country. In reality it is like a small city inside walls, yes it does have the buildings to do with running the country and military barracks but it also has a large cluster of amazing gold domed churches and museums.
